26-batch kids’ shoes made in China contain formaldehyde, plasticizers and heavy metals

China’s Beijing Market Supervision Bureau recently conducted random inspections on the quality of children’s shoes. Mild symptoms include watery eyes, cough, contact dermatitis, finger and nail pain, etc. In severe cases, insomnia and dizziness may occur. Symptoms such as headache, and even cause cancer. Children’s body resistance is generally weaker than that of ordinary adults, and they are more sensitive to formaldehyde pollution and are more prone to discomfort.

Statistics show that Guangzhou Yitong Trading Co., Ltd. is a member of Belle International and has a high reputation in the Chinese children’s shoe industry. Excessive heavy metals will affect children’s intellectual development. Shoes have been in contact with children for a long time. Once the heavy metals are absorbed by the human body, some of them will be excreted in feces and sweat. The rest will dissolve into the human blood after a few hours and hinder the synthesis of blood. It will lead to anemia, headache, dizziness, and fatigue. , Drowsiness, constipation and sore limbs and other symptoms.

The most unqualified reason in this period is the “Identification” item. There are 20 batches of children’s shoes unqualified in this item, such as Babudou, Keoukeyou, Jimmy Bear, Moonstar, Wang Xiaohe, etc. And the companies’ failure to follow the standard on true and comprehensive label product information may mislead consumers.
